MONOCHROMATIC MAKEUP

MONOCHROMATIC MAKEUP is trending now and it makes me really exciting because all lazy girls like me who always want to look “IN” but are lazy to do any effort can take advantage of this makeup and fashion trend. Ok, so first let me explain what MONOCHROMATIC’ means? it consists of two words basically ”Mono” meaning “single” and “chromatic” meaning “color” so MONOCHROMATIC MAKEUP means apply the same iconic shades to lip, eyes, and cheeks coordinating with your dress or outfit. This makeup trend is going to be huge and Hollywood celebrities have been spotted hitting the red carpet with flawlessly harmonized shades.

Mono Trendy Colors:

Mono makeup is effortless and generally rooted in beige, brown, pink, or red.  It can be practiced by choosing a shade that compliments your skin and outfit and then matching all the other products within that color family.

How to DO:

Everyone knows what color mostly they wear or suit them better. For monochromatic makeup look, you don’t need to think of what colors you need to blend together or whether your blusher complements your eyes or lip color.  As they belong to the same color family so they obviously match. So here are some easy steps get that look :

  • Start with your cheeks and blend it thoroughly
  • Then use the same color blusher on your eyes
  • Put a little emphasize on edges and  creeze of your eyelid

  1. I have always preferred a monochromatic look. It’s easier to look natural instead of all made-up. While I love a pop of color occasionally, I like the natural, summer kissed look

  2. I don’t wear as much make up since I started working from home. When I do wear it, it is mostly the monochrome color scheme.

  3. I have been wanting to try the monochromatic look. I will have to get a few new colors to try it with.
